The new version 2.8 of the EDIFACT guide for Cargo Manifest declarations has been published. The main change is Annex IV with a new list and description of associated validations, described in section 10 of the guide, which will replace the current Annex IV, described in section 10.1, in those items that are registered after the date-time in which it is activated in the real environment.

The deployment schedule is as follows:

Pre-production testing starting 08/04/2025
Production activation for items registered from 10:00 a.m. on 09/09/2025

For items entered before the date and time indicated for the activation of the new list and validations, the current list shown in the guide in section 10.1 will apply, even if modified later.

Please note that the current exit document EXS it forks into two:

• EXS in which those IE615 declarations that are summary exit (A1/A2) or re-export notifications (A3) will be declared
• ZNR in which those IE615 declarations that are reshipment notifications (NR) will be declared
