II.2.1.2. Non-Union goods

Article 5, section 24 of the UCC

Non-Union goods are goods other than those indicated above or which have lost their customs status as Union goods.

Union goods lose their status when:

  • leave the customs territory of the Union, except in the cases detailed in section II.2.2;
  • are included in an external transit regime, free zone, customs warehouse or active processing regime; or
  • They are included in a end-use regime and are either abandoned for the benefit of the State or destroyed and end up as waste.
