IV.1.4.2.3. Submission of the transit declaration

The submission of the transit declaration (IE015) using computerized data processing procedures compromises the responsibility of the holder of the procedure with respect to:

  1. the accuracy of the information contained in the application;
  2. the authenticity of the attached documents;
  3. compliance with all obligations associated with the inclusion of goods in the common/Union transit procedure.

Authentication of the declaration will be subject to the regulations governing the country of departure.

ECONOMIC OPERATORS
The holder of the regime will consult with the customs authorities on how a transit declaration submitted in electronic format should be authenticated.
