IV.2.4. Specific situations
When a large number of different items in small quantities (e.g., ship supplies, household goods in international removals) are to be included in a common/Union transit procedure and are destined for the same final recipient, a generic description of the goods is sufficient to avoid the additional costs of entering transit data. This arrangement would be subject to the additional condition that a full and detailed description of the goods for customs purposes be available accompanying the shipment.
In any case, it must first be verified that all goods are indeed to be placed under a common/Union transit procedure.
