IX.2.1.3. Written agreement

Annex 9, part I, paragraph 1, letter e) of the TIR Convention

The written agreement or any other legal instrument used constitutes the establishment of a commitment that sets out a series of obligations to which the guarantor association is subject.

In order to ensure a high level of harmonization, a template for a written agreement with minimum conditions and requirements is set out in Annex IX.8.7 and can be used by national guarantor associations and Union customs authorities.
