IX.2.2.3.3. Application of Article 6, paragraph 4, of the TIR Convention

Annex 9, Part II, of the TIR Convention and Explanatory Note 9.II.4

The authorization of any TIR Carnet holder who is no longer entitled to it (for example, because he or she no longer meets the basic requirements for obtaining one) or who has been deemed unfit (because he or she has committed serious or repeated violations) will be revoked.

The Member State revoking the authorization must not only notify the TIR Carnet holder, but also enter the information directly into the ITDB as soon as possible.
