IX.3.2.1. Maximum guarantee amount

Article 8, paragraph 3, and Explanatory Note 0.8.3 of the TIR Convention

Each Contracting Party sets the monetary limit of the guarantee per TIR carnet.

Article 163 of the AE

At the Union level, it has been agreed to express this amount in euros and, consequently, the Union has set a maximum amount of 100,000 euros.
