V.3.3.1.3. Printed and completed transit declaration on paper in DAT form

Annexes A3, A4, A5 and A6 of Appendix III to the Convention
Appendices F1 and F2 of Annex 9 of the ADT

The transit accompanying document (TAD) form may be used as a paper transit declaration, supplemented, if necessary, with the list of articles (LdA).

The DAT must be completed in writing (by hand, legibly, in ink and in capital letters) or using the economic operator's computerized system. All mandatory boxes for the transit declaration in accordance with Annex B6 of Appendix III to the Convention/Appendix C1 of Annex 9 to the ADT shall be completed.

When the DAT is used as a paper transit declaration, no NRM will be assigned to the transit operation. Instead, the national reference number for the business continuity procedure will be used and will be entered in the DAT in the upper right corner.

When a transit operation includes several items of merchandise, one or more lists of items will be attached to the DAT. The list of items will include the same reference number from a transit declaration as the one recorded in the DAT to which it is attached. The list of articles shall be completed in accordance with Annex A5 of Appendix III to the Convention/Appendix F2 of Annex 9 to the ADT.

The boxes in the item list are expandable vertically. The maximum number of items in a transit declaration is 99.
