ECONOMIC OPERATORS
The holder of the regime himself or, where applicable, his authorized representative must sign the transit declaration in box 50 of the SAD or DAT.

Annex II of Appendix I of the Convention

Annexes B6 and B9 of Appendix III of the Convention

Annex 72-04 of the AE

Authorized shippers may be exempted from signing transit declarations bearing the special seal.

This exemption may be granted provided that the authorized consignor has previously submitted to the customs authority a written commitment recognizing itself as the holder of the regime for all transit operations carried out under transit declarations bearing the special stamp.

The unsigned transit declaration will contain in the box reserved for the signature of the holder of the regime the following statement: «Waiver of signature — 99207».

Further information on this procedure, which is considered a simplification of the ordinary transit regime, is provided in Part VI.
