VII.4.1.2. Start of the investigation procedure with the head of the regime

If copy 5 of the SAD or a second copy of the DAT is not returned to the competent authorities of the country of departure within two months of the expiry of the deadline for presenting the goods at the customs office of destination, the latter will notify the holder of the procedure and invite him to provide proof of the termination of the procedure.

The holder of the regime will be given the opportunity to provide the information necessary to complete the procedure within twenty-eight days.
