January 10, 2023.- Customs Surveillance Officials from the Tax Agency and agents from the National Police, in a joint operation, have dismantled an organization dedicated to drug trafficking in Dos Hermanas ( Seville), which has culminated in the arrest of three residents of the Nazarene town as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health.

The operation, called 'Búcaro-Palace', began in early 2022, when researchers detected in Dos Hermanas an active group of individuals who would be dedicated to growing marijuana for subsequent distribution.

As a result of the investigations, the suspects were identified and several properties were located that they were using to grow the plants. Specifically, they were two homes located in the Los Montecillos neighborhood and a chalet located in an urbanization on the outskirts of Dos Hermanas.

On December 20, after obtaining the corresponding judicial authorizations, the operation was carried out, resulting in the seizure of more than 5,600 marijuana plants in different stages of growth, a high-end vehicle and cash. .

In addition, three arrests were made, all of the detainees being natural and residents of the Sevillian town of Dos Hermanas, who were placed at the disposal of the judicial authority, accused of crimes against health. public, along with the drugs and the seized effects.

The joint operation, developed by the Customs Surveillance Operational Unit of Seville and the National Police, remains open and future arrests are not ruled out.
