New measures in response to the social and economic impact of COVID-19 (Royal Decree-Law 11/2020, of 31 March)
Royal Decree-Law 11/2020, of 31 March, adopting additional urgent social and economic measures in response to COVID 19, contains new urgent and complementary measures to those adopted previously.
Related to taxation and customs in particular, it states:
art. 52 Deferment of customs debts.
art. 53 Application of article 33 of Royal Decree-Law 8/2020 to Autonomous Communities and Local Entities.
Eighth additional provision Extension of the deadlines for lodging appeals for reconsideration and economic-administrative claims, which will be calculated from the working day following the date of the end of the state of alarm.
Ninth additional provision Non-computation of the period for enforcing decisions of the economic-administrative tribunals from 14 March to 30 April, and suspension of the expiry and prescription periods from 14 March to 30 April.
Eleventh additional provision Issuance of qualified electronic certificates.
