Disclaimer: CLASS. Tariff classification
When goods are declared at European Union customs, they must be classified according to the Combined Nomenclature
When goods are declared to European Union customs, they must be classified according to the Combined Nomenclature or any other nomenclature that is wholly or partially based on the Combined Nomenclature. This determines what type of Common Customs Tariff duty or what non-tariff measures apply.
CLASS is the European Commission's virtual assistant where, through a single access point, different types of tariff classification information are included in a consistent and coherent manner:
-
Conclusions of the Customs Code Committees
-
Classification Regulations
-
Rulings of the European Court of Justice
-
