Disclaimer: CLASS. Tariff classification
When goods are declared at European Union customs, they must be classified according to the Combined Nomenclature
When goods are declared to customs in the European Union, they must be classified according to the Combined Nomenclature or any other nomenclature that is based wholly or partly on the Combined Nomenclature. This determines what type of Common Customs Tariff duty or non-tariff measures apply.
CLASS is the European Commission's virtual assistant where, through a single access point, different types of tariff classification information are included in a consistent and coherent manner:
-
Conclusions of the Customs Code Committees
-
Classification Regulations
-
Judgments of the Court of Justice of the European Communities
-
