The Tax Agency (hereinafter AEAT) has undertaken to make its websites accessible, in accordance with “Royal Decree 1112/2018 dated 7 September on the accessibility of websites and applications for mobile devices in the public sector”.

The AEAT website is partially compliant with the "Real Decreto 1112/2018, de 7 de septiembre, sobre accesibilidad de los sitios web y aplicaciones para dispositivos móviles del sector público" due to the exceptions and non-compliance of the aspects listed below.

The content below is not accessible due to the following:

- On pages in languages other than Spanish, there may be texts in Spanish whose language change is not correctly labelled, because this situation is transitory until its final automatic or manual translation [requirement number 9.3.1.2 Language of the parts of UNE-EN 301549:2022].

With this procedure you will be able to initiate a claim in order to find out and oppose the reasons for the rejection of a request for accessible information or complaint, seek the adoption of appropriate measures in the case of disagreement with the decision taken, or state the reasons why the response is considered not to comply with the requirements.
Link to the Claim procedure against the rejection of the request or complaint regarding web accessibility, which should be directed to the Unit responsible for accessibility of this Ministry, or if the claim relates to an action of this Unit, to the latter’s superior.

AEAT accessibility policy
In compliance with the principles of accessibility and universal design, the Tax Agency works to ensure that all citizens –placing special attention on elderly people and people with some type of disability–, who interact with it through the Internet, can access the electronic information and services on equal terms, regardless of their personal circumstances, means or knowledge.In other words, that they can browse the pages of the AEAT website without having access difficulties.
Standards and regulations
The accessibility policy applied by the Tax Agency is in line with the requirements of "Royal Decree 1112/2018 of 7 September on the accessibility of websites and applications for mobile devices in the public sector”.
The AEAT's web pages currently comply with the requirements, Level AA, of the UNE-EN 301549:2022 Standard, considering the exceptions of RD 1112/2018.
Viewing characteristics
The Tax Agency’s website is optimised for 1024 x 768 resolutions.If your screen resolution is greater, the size of the letters may be small in some cases.Notwithstanding this, the font sizes have been defined so that it is possible to increase or reduce their size using the browser options.
This website has been tested and is optimised for browsers compatible with HTML5 and versions supported by the manufacturers.Using different browsers or versions that are no longer supported by the manufacturers could give access to and enable viewing of the content of the Tax Agency's website, but does not guarantee a complete and adequate viewing or availability of documents or of other features.You can download updates and browsers on the supplier’s website for these types of programmes.
In addition, for the correct functioning of this website it is necessary that your browser has enabled the use of Javascript and the use of cookies (See section Legal notice).
