10.14.14. For the supply of electricity and gas for domestic use for young people
Taxpayers will be able to deduct 15 percent of their annual expenses for paying for gas and electricity supplies to companies in the sector.
In the case of women or residents of one of the small municipalities listed at the end of this deduction, the reduction percentage will be of 20 percent . Prorated by months if these conditions are only met for part of the year.
The percentage will be of 25 percent for those single people with minors in their care.
Conditions:
- That the taxpayer has the status of "emancipated young person", that is, one who has not turned 36 at the end of the tax period.
- That the taxpayer signs a gas or electricity supply contract for his or her habitual residence during the year.
- That both the contracts and the use of the service are not linked to an economic activity.
- The taxpayer must own or lease the habitual residence.
- The supply contract must be signed at least 6 months before the tax accrual date (normally December 31) and must be maintained at least until said date.
- A contract must be signed to sign an electricity or gas supply; a simple change of contract ownership or tariff type is not valid. The contract must include the name of the taxpayer entitled to the deduction.
- In the event that more than one taxpayer entitled to deduction lives in the same habitual residence, the deduction will be prorated among all of them.
This deduction may be applied only once per dwelling and per taxpayer.
Completion:
You must include the amounts paid with the right to deduction in one of the three boxes enabled in the program, depending on your personal situation, and application of the deduction, at 15, 20 or 25 percent.
