12.1 iCalendar

The taxpayer calendar in iCalendar format allows you to incorporate due dates into the personal calendar offered by Google Calendar (a free, personal space offered by Google to users who have a Gmail email account). However, files that follow the iCalendar standard can be integrated with most calendar applications (e.g. Outlook, Yahoo, Mozilla Thunderbird, Zimbra, Apple ICal, etc.).

The steps to subscribe to the Tax Agency's iCalendar are as follows:

  1. Click on the calendar tab of your personal Gmail account.

  2. Click on the dropdown “Other calendars” and select “Add by URL” .

  3. Locate the URL address of the calendar you want to add to your personal calendar and enter it in the corresponding field. You can incorporate any or all of the calendars listed in the following link into your personalized calendar: Link to iCalendar

  4. Once you have added the URL of the calendar or calendars you are interested in, click on “Add calendar” and they will appear in the “Other calendars” section of the left column of your personal calendar.

  5. Once the due dates of the different models have been incorporated, they can be configured so that such due dates are notified in advance using the time frame and method deemed appropriate.

You can download and install the Google Calendar app on phones and tablets. When the application is opened, all events will be synchronized with the computer. Therefore, you will see the same events in the desktop version of Google Calendar as in the mobile version.
