General reduction for obtaining work income
Royal Decree-Law 4/2024, of June 26, for the year 2024 has modified article 20 of the Personal Income Tax Law to increase the maximum amount of the reduction for obtaining income from work (which goes from 6,498 euros per year to 7,302 euros per year), an amount that will decrease in two sections (three in total) as the aforementioned net income from work increases.
Perception of benefits derived from the early availability of consolidated rights for taxpayers affected by Isolated Depression at High Levels (DANA)
In order to facilitate that those affected by the Isolated Depression at High Levels (DANA) can meet the sudden liquidity needs, article 51 of Royal Decree-Law 7/2024, of November 11, which adopts urgent measures to promote the Immediate Response, Reconstruction and Relaunch Plan against the damages caused by the Isolated Depression at High Levels (DANA) in different municipalities between October 28 and November 4, 2024 ( BOE of November 12), has established, exceptionally and exclusively during the period between November 13, 2024 and May 12, 2025, the possibility that participants in pension plans, as well as insured persons of insured pension plans and company social security plans and mutual members of social security mutual funds may have early withdrawals in certain cases. of its consolidated rights, setting the conditions and a maximum amount of disposal.
The receipt of such benefits will be considered as employment income in accordance with article 17.2.a) of the Income Law.
