2.1.1. Operations included in the trading volume

  1. The volume of transactions must include the total amount of all deliveries of goods and services, including those exempt, carried out in the development of business or professional activity.

    Likewise, those operations carried out from establishments located in the territory of application of the tax must be understood to be included in the volume of operations, although, by application of the rules of location of the taxable event, they may not be subject to the tax ( Query 0959-04 ).

  2. Securitisation funds that regularly carry out exempt operations, in accordance with art. 20.one.18 of the LIVA, must include these operations in calculating their volume of operations ( Binding consultation 1627-19 ).

  3. The volume of operations includes advances from customers ( Query 0671-01 ).

  4. The calculation of the volume of operations includes the amounts resulting from the deliveries of real estate regularly carried out by a real estate entity ( Query 0385-02 ).

  5. Any Special Taxes that may apply to the operations carried out must be computed ( Query 0306-99 ).

  6. An entity is dedicated to carrying out commission agent activities in merchandise transit operations, imports and consignment thereof. You must compute as the volume of operations the total amount of the professional services provided during the fiscal year ( Binding consultation 0440-06 ).

  7. The interest paid for a fund transfer service, if it constitutes the consideration for an economic activity, its collection must be understood to be included in the determination of the volume of operations ( Binding consultation V0600-07 ).

  8. The amount of transactions not subject to the application of the rules for locating the taxable event must be taken into account to calculate the volume of transactions ( TEAC Resolution 00/266/2006 of 02/14/2007 New window ).
