1.3.5. Expedited shipping

In 2020, an amendment to AD CAU introduced in its article 1, point 46, the definition of goods in express shipments: «“express shipping”: an individual item transported by an express transport company or under the responsibility of an express transport company.

Likewise, in article 1, point 47, of the AD CAU, "express transport company" is defined as "operator that provides integrated collection, transport, customs clearance and delivery services urgently and within a specific period, as well as the location and control of said items during the provision of the service.
