Section VI: The AEO logo

Authorised Economic Operators are entitled to use the AEO logo.

The AEO logo is property of the EU.

The logo is not freely downloadable and is provided by the AAE. When providing the logo, the AAE must accompany it with clear instructions on where and how to use it.

The AEO logo may be used under the following conditions:

• The right to use the logo is subject to possession of a valid AEO authorization;
• Only holders of an AEO authorisation may use the logo;
• The AEO must cease using the logo as soon as its status as such is suspended or revoked.

Any abuse will be prosecuted in accordance with EU law.
