Statistics of Earnings from Economic Activities

The statistic Income from economic activities is a publication based on the information relating to economic activities provided by business people and professional individuals in their annual income tax returns.

The main objective of statistics is to deepen knowledge of the economic activities carried out by individual entrepreneurs, which will contribute to the analysis of non-corporate SMEs, their territorial distribution, the gender of the entrepreneur, their nationality and the importance of business income in relation to the rest of their income. This will give a global vision of the general economic activity, the analysis of which has traditionally been focused on activities carried out in companies with corporate form.

This publication introduces a new element, the net tax liability attributed to the economic activity, which provides information on the tax burden on earnings from business and professional economic activities.
