FNMT electronic certificate with ID card without appointment via video identification
This reminder is intended to inform about the possibility of obtaining an electronic certificate for individuals offered by the National Mint and Stamp Factory (FNMT), through video identification.
Obtaining the certificate is not entirely immediate because the applicant's "identification video" has to be evaluated by the FNMT. Furthermore, managing the identification video at the FNMT Electronic Headquarters entails, at least for now, a cost (of €2.99 + Taxes).

The certificate obtained by video identification has some limitations. It does not allow obtaining an online certificate of legal entity representative at the FNMT Headquarters. Therefore, if you wish to use the individual certificate to obtain a Representation certificate online, you must obtain the individual certificate with in-person accreditation. New feature: to obtain a representative certificate of the Sole or Joint Administrator type, identification with a Citizen certificate obtained by video identification is accepted.
