Direct award of auction No. 1/2025 of the Regional Customs and Industrial Property Office. Excise Duties from Galicia

Public Auction No. 1/2025 was held on May 28, 2025, by the Regional Customs and Export Department II. Any person who possesses the legal capacity to act and who is not subject to any legal impediment or restriction may participate as a bidder. All bidders must prove their legal status by presenting their ID and, if acting as a representative of another person, must adequately justify this status.

Anything not covered in this announcement shall be subject to the provisions of the legal provisions governing the act.

The bases that will govern this direct award procedure will be the following:

Bids must be submitted in a sealed envelope for each lot for which you wish to bid. On the outside of said envelope only the lot number for which the bid is being made and the indication “DIRECT AWARD 1/2025 OF GALICIA” may appear. “PONTEVEDRA AEAT DELEGATION”. Only Annex II, which accompanies this call for tenders, will be included, which will state the name and surname, company name or full name, NIF (Tax Identification Number), address, telephone number and email address, and the lot number being bid on, as well as the bidder's bid, which will be stated by indicating the quantity in numbers and letters. This annex must be signed by the interested party or his duly accredited representative.

In the direct award procedure there will be no minimum starting price.

Deadlines: From the date of publication on the AEAT website, until June 25, 2025.

Deposit to be established: No deposit.

Place of presentation: The bids, in a sealed envelope, will be addressed to the Chief Technical Officer of Customs and International Trade Management. from Pontevedra and must be submitted to the General Registry of the Pontevedra AEAT Delegation located at Avenida MARÍA VICTORIA MORENO, 45 36003 PONTEVEDRA (PONTEVEDRA) from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. In this regard, it should be noted that documentation sent by courier must be received by the aforementioned General Registry before the date and time indicated above.

Opening of bids: Once the tender submission phase is complete, the Board will meet in a closed session within a maximum of five days and will open the submitted bids. It may then award the goods if any of them are deemed sufficient at that time.

Payment of the award price: The successful bidders will be notified of a notice of award of the corresponding lot, which will indicate the amount for which it has been awarded, granting them a period of FIFTEEN BUSINESS DAYS from the day following notification of said communication, to proceed with the payment of the auction price. Failure by the successful bidder to pay the auction price within the established period will result in the loss of the right to award the lot. If the first successful bidder fails to make the payment within the established period, the property will be awarded to the next bidders if their bids are deemed sufficient. If the lot in question is not awarded, it may be sold at a future auction.

Conditions of alienation:
The successful bidder shall be responsible for all charges, levies and taxes of any kind, type or nature (whether from a public or private entity) that fall on the auctioned contracts, or on any of the physical or legal operations that may result. Specifically:

1. The Special Tax on certain means of transport will not be included in the award price of the goods; any applicable tax must be paid upon registration of the vehicle.

2. The award price does not include indirect taxes levied on the transfer of such assets. All expenses and taxes arising from the transfer shall be borne by the successful bidder.

3. The successful bidder must comply with any applicable legal requirements based on the intended use of the awarded merchandise.

4. The expenses necessary for the removal of the awarded goods from the place where they are stored. Storage costs from the day following the award of the merchandise.

5. If the awarding committee does not consider the tender amount to be sufficient, it may declare the award void, publishing this fact.
