Nomads: hunters and gatherers. Transition to a sedentary lifestyle

Primitive men and women who inhabited the Earth ate plants they gathered, animals they hunted, and fish they caught.

Another need they had was to cover themselves with animal skins and take refuge in caves to protect themselves from the cold, snow, rain and even from attacks by wild animals.

When the plants, game, or fish in a place were depleted, those people moved or migrated to another area or region where food was abundant. But one day they realized that they could grow plants or raise animals without having to migrate to other places. Thus, they became sedentary farmers and ranchers, meaning they stopped moving around to satisfy their basic needs. This gave rise to populations with a need for protection (soldiers, walls, etc.) and for services (water, internal security, etc.). Benefits that cost money and are collected by the government to be used to maintain these services.

The concept of money has evolved throughout the history of humanity. At first, people exchanged what each produced; Thus, for example, the fisherman gave fish to the farmer and, in return, the farmer gave fruits and vegetables to the fisherman. Since the good that a person needed was not always given to him in exchange for what he himself produced and could give, money was invented with which anything can be acquired and which can be exchanged for anything; This is how trade began.
