A simulation exercise: Community education

Area : Interdisciplinary. Type : Group. Level : Second cycle of ESO

• You form a Greek or Chinese or Mayan or any other village (choose what you want).

• Investigate their social organization and name, by consensus or lottery, the different functions that existed. The determined functions will be performed by a small group.

• It is necessary for survival to carry out a common work. It is essential and urgent. (For example, the construction of a bridge or a defensive palisade).

• Everyone must contribute.

• Indicate how each person should contribute to the common task. Capture it graphically in a mural.
