Area : Interdisciplinary. Education in Civic and Ethical Values. Type : Group. Individual. Level : First Cycle of ESO

  • Students are asked to list the public goods and services that they consider most important. They are then asked to imagine that they can invent a tax to improve those goods and services: They will have to say in which goods and services, in order of importance, the money obtained would be invested, who would pay that tax, how much and when it would be paid.

  • In a large group, the taxes in force are written on the board and then the students are asked to say which ones they would keep and which ones they would eliminate, explaining why. In a final vote, those rejected by the majority will be deleted.
