  • Find the following data related to taxes:

    • The price at origin, the price received by the farmer, for an agricultural product (oranges or any other fruit, green beans, legumes, whatever you want).

    • The price of that same product in central distribution markets.

    • Finally, ask the consumer about the price of that product at the point of sale.

    • Analyze what part of the increase in the value of that product is due to increases promoted by distribution work and what part is due to Value Added Tax (VAT).

  • Make a comment about that process.
