Theater in VAT

Area : Spanish Language and Literature. Interdisciplinary. Type : Group. Level : Second Cycle of ESO

Three scenes and two characters are prepared in each one.

  • In the first scene, character 1 makes a repair in a house and, upon finishing, asks character 2, who is the owner of the house, to pay him and offers to lower the price if he does not charge VAT and does not give him an invoice. Character 2 agrees to save money.

  • In the second scene, character 1 makes the same offer, but character 2 rejects it and demands the VAT invoice. In the third scene, it is character 2 who asks character 1 to charge him less and not give him an invoice, but character 1 refuses.

  • Afterwards, there will be a debate, asking students what behaviors they consider correct and which ones incorrect. If VAT is not paid, are you harming or deceiving anyone? If an invoice is not requested, what can happen?
