Geographic mobility flows by province
This section presents the same scheme as that of Autonomous Communities, and its content is similar, but using the province as the geographical classification.
The inter-provincial mobility matrices are not presented all together, but have been separated as follows to facilitate the visibility of the graphs:
- Matrix of wage worker mobility between provinces: It shows the movements of salaried workers between the provinces of two selected Autonomous Communities. In the string diagram, the bands of the graph describe the movement of salaried workers between two provinces where at least in one of them the inflow is greater than 5 salaried workers.
- Mobility matrix of salaried workers between provinces other than Madrid and Barcelona: It shows the movements of salaried workers between provinces, excluding Madrid and Barcelona (which are presented in a different matrix). In the string diagram, the bands of the graph describe the movement of salaried workers between two provinces where at least in one of them the inflow is greater than 100 salaried workers.
- Mobility matrix of salaried workers between provinces with origin and/or destination Madrid and Barcelona: It shows the movements of salaried workers between any province and Madrid and/or Barcelona. In the string diagram, the bands of the graph describe the movement of salaried workers between two provinces where at least in one of them the inflow is greater than 100 salaried workers.
Due to statistical confidentiality reasons, data for the City of Ceuta and the City of Melilla are not presented in the mobility matrices.
