Daily domestic sales
The statistics show the level and daily evolution of sales made by companies included in the Immediate Supply of Information (SII) system.
Since its entry into force, this system has provided more up-to-date data on daily sales, as opposed to the monthly or quarterly data normally expected as regards VAT returns. Those required to file their tax returns through the SII are Large Companies (those with a turnover the previous year of more than 6 million euros), VAT groups and companies registered in the Monthly Refund Register.Daily sales account for about 70% of total domestic sales for all VAT taxpayers (the percentage is higher when taking the total declared volume of transactions into account).
The publication consists of a report and historical series dating back to 1 July 2017.Using the latter, processed accordingly, an overview of the economic situation is obtained, complementing and anticipating the sales information contained in the tax collection reports and in the monthly statistics for Sales, Jobs and Wages at Large Companies (VESGE) and in the quarterly statistics for Sales, Jobs and Wages at Large Companies and SMEs (VESGEP).
It is disseminated on a weekly basis. It will be held every Wednesday, except for public holidays, which will be moved to the corresponding Thursday.
