What is TOKEN and what is it for?
Information on the use of the TOKEN for identification in the telephone channel
The TOKEN is a temporary 6-digit numeric code that allows you to obtain assistance or carry out procedures through the Tax Agency's telephone channel (except for Income Tax Campaign telephone assistance). This key relates the person who intends to act through a telephone channel with the natural or legal person to whom the action refers.
This action may be carried out either on one's own behalf or on behalf of third parties.
The request for a TOKEN is made on this page of the Electronic Office, through the management "Obtaining TOKEN of identification". To access this management, it is necessary to have an electronic certificate or identify yourself through the eIDAS system for citizens of a EU country, in the latter case you must have DNI , NIE or NIF L or M. The validity of the TOKEN is one hour from its obtaining.
In the event that the TOKEN requested is to act on behalf of third parties, it is necessary that the applicant has an electronic representative certificate or that it is registered in one of the following registers of the Tax Agency: Registry of powers of attorney or Registry of successions and legal representations of minors and incapacitated persons.
