What is the TOKEN and what is it for?
Information on the use of the TOKEN for identification in the telephone channel
The TOKEN is a temporary 6-digit numerical code, which allows you to obtain assistance or carry out procedures through the telephone channel of the Tax Agency (except for telephone assistance for the Income Campaign). This key relates the person who intends to act through a telephone channel with the natural or legal person to whom the action refers.
This action can be carried out both on your own behalf and on behalf of third parties.
The request for a TOKEN is made on this page of the electronic headquarters, through the "Obtaining the TOKEN" procedure. To access this management it is necessary to have an electronic certificate. The validity of the TOKEN is one hour from the moment it is obtained.
In the event that the requested TOKEN is to act on behalf of third parties, it is necessary that the requesting person has an electronic certificate of representative or that it appears in one of the following records of the Tax Agency: Registry of powers or Registry of inheritances and legal representations of minors and incapacitated persons.
