Where is it regulated and what is meant by the special tax regime applicable in the Balearic Islands?

The Seventieth Additional Provision of the LPGE for 2023 introduces the Special tax regime of the Balearic Islands with effect for tax periods beginning between January 1, 2023 and December 31, 2028 .

Royal Decree 710/2024, of July 23, contains the Development Regulation of the Special Tax Regime of the Balearic Islands.

The special tax regime of the Balearic Islands shall be understood as the reserve for investments in the Balearic Islands and the special regime for industrial, agricultural, livestock and fishing companies.
