Communication of the opening of the accounting year
If you own a business that keeps its accounting records through SILICIE, starting January 1, 2025, you must report the opening of accounting records for each fiscal year before submitting the accounting entries for that year.
You will not be able to provide entries for an accounting period until you have communicated the opening of the year.
The opening of the accounting year will be notified through the process enabled for this purpose on the Tax Agency's electronic site. To do this, you must access the "Financial Year Opening" section and fill in the opening details.
