4.2.6. Institutional campaigns

During 2014 the Tax Agency conducted an informative campaign and a fraud awareness campaign:

  • The information campaign was proposed with the objective of informing about the previous appointment ; The chosen motto was “By appointment, you come first”; and the chosen medium was radio.

  • The fraud awareness campaign was programmed with the following aim: to raise awareness among the citizens for the correct fulfilment of their tax responsibilities, promoting civic responsibility. Fraud was portrayed as an anti-social and selfish behaviour that has negative repercussions on everyone else: the insolidarity of someone who defrauds, deceives and harms the others; On the other hand , the chosen motto was “ What you defraud, we all pay”; the media chosen were television, radio and Internet; and the campaign period lasted from 19 June until 30 June 2014.
