4.2.5. Assistance plan for people with disabilities

Since 2004, a co-operation agreement has been in place involving the Tax Agency and the Spanish Committee of Representatives of People with Disabilities and ONCE (the National Organisation for the Blind). Under this agreement, the Tax Agency approves an Annual Assistance Plan for People with Disabilities in agreement with these bodies. The plan includes information and assistance activities, the accessibility of the Tax Agency's website and offices, educational activities geared towards raising awareness among Tax Agency staff with regard to the needs of this group, etc. During 2015, practically all of the aspects set out in the Annual Plan have been fulfilled.

In addition, in 2015 the demand for statistical information from the Associations that have signed the Agreement have been responded to with a first statistical publication referring to the data of Personal Income Tax for 2013 of all people with disabilities. The Tax Agency's commitment in relation to this group is to maintain this publication in future periods, increasing the series of statistical publications based on taxes that are accessible on the Tax Agency's website.

Buildings now have an accessibility level of 95.85% (88.30% of main entrances and 7.55% of alternative entrances). The buildings with adapted toilets represent 69.43% of the total. Regarding elevators, it is worth clarifying that there are properties, basically Administrations, that consist of a single floor and in which, therefore, it is not necessary to have an elevator.
