Annual Report 2016

4.3.2. General Electronic Register

The electronic register allows citizens to file documentation without the need to travel to the offices of the Tax Agency.

During 2016 the Tax Agency's Registry has been integrated with the Interconnected Record System. This integration enables entries to be received from other Public Administrations and processed electronically and also sent electronically to other Administrations, thereby complying with the prevailing regulatory standards.

With regard to the previous year, in 2016 registrations made using the Cl@ve PIN system have increased by 36.39 percent, reaching 437,094.

It should also be noted that registration entries made using digital certificates are up by approximately 13 percent, totalling 3,534,468.
