3.3.1. Tax and customs fraud prevention and control results

In accumulated terms, 14.221 billion euros were collected under this concept in 2017. This total amount is broken down into 9.505 billion euros corresponding with income derived from Tax Agency control actions (including income from cases brought to trial) and 4.716 billion euros corresponding with deductions on refunds, which also includes reduced amounts coming from cases brought to trial and those coming from self-assessment amendments.
