Agreement of understanding between the Tax Agency and the Spanish Federation of Spirits for the prevention of tax fraud
On December 22, 2022, an agreement of understanding was signed between the State Tax Administration Agency and the Spanish Federation of Spirits (Spirits Spain).
The purpose of the agreement is to prevent and combat tax fraud in the Special Tax on Alcohol and Derived Beverages and in the Value Added Tax in the area that affects the sector of companies producing spirit drinks and derived products, and updates the text signed in 2006.
