The Tax Blog of Crónica Tributaria , one more week, publishes an entry on different aspects of tax management. On Thursday, December 7, a post written by Ms. Virginia Muñoz Fernández, Director of the Tax Collection Department of the Tax Agency, was published with the title “BlockTax”.

In the entry, the author points out the idea of implementing blockchain technology in the payment of taxes, in an exquisite exercise of public transparency, which would mean having a real mechanism for knowing the available resources, social needs and decision-making regarding the allocation of our taxes. All of this would allow citizens to become aware of the costs of the Welfare State so that it is truly known, cared for and desired.
