675 kilos of cocaine hidden in a truck from Ibiza were seized at the port of Valencia.

  • The driver of the vehicle was arrested after the intervention carried out as part of the random checks on the transport of goods via ferry.

July 15, 2025.- Customs Surveillance officers from the Tax Agency, in a joint operation with Civil Guard and National Police officers, have arrested the driver of a truck transporting 675 kilos of cocaine hidden in the back of a truck on a ferry from Ibiza.

Last Wednesday, July 9, as part of "Operation Summer," a joint operation between Customs Surveillance, the Civil Guard, and the National Police, random checks were carried out on the transportation of goods at the port of Valencia.

Agents from the three forces, following a thorough risk analysis, selected a ferry on the route between Ibiza and Valencia to inspect all the trucks.

Thanks to the support of the dog handlers, one of the dogs identified a truck, which, after being opened, revealed a stash of 675 kilos of cocaine.

In addition, the driver, a 53-year-old Spanish man, was carrying 30 grams of cocaine in his possession and has already been arrested in Valencia.

The proceedings were handed over to the Court of First Instance and Investigation No. 13 of Valencia.
