June 26, 2025.- Customs Surveillance officers from the Tax Agency in Palma de Mallorca and members of the Fiscal and Border Analysis and Investigation Unit (UDAIF) of the Civil Guard have arrested an individual transporting 26 kilos of hashish in his vehicle.

The intervention took place in the early hours of June 19th. During the fiscal verification operation established for the disembarkation of a ship from the port of Valencia, a car was diverted to the control area, where the dog of the Civil Guard's Canine Service confirmed the presence of narcotics.

After a more thorough search, a compact brown substance was found hidden in the trunk of the vehicle. After conducting the drug tests, the presence of hashish was confirmed, with a gross weight of approximately 26 kilos.

Therefore, the driver of the vehicle was arrested as a suspected perpetrator of a crime against public health and, after being brought before a court, the judicial authority ordered his imprisonment.
