Four crops dismantled ‘indoor’ of marijuana in the province of Seville

  • Five people arrested for drug trafficking and electricity fraud

  • More than 1,600 cannabis plants have been seized

November 6, 2025. The Customs Surveillance Service of the Tax Agency in Seville, in a joint operation with the Civil Guard, has proceeded to dismantle four marijuana cultivation centers in the town of Osuna (Seville) in several operations carried out in October that began as a result of complaints from neighbors alerting them to the strong smells coming from the properties under investigation.

The first of the operations took place on October 8th. A search was carried out at a warehouse in Osuna, where 150 plants in different stages of growth were seized and the person responsible for the plantation was arrested.

The second operation took place on October 16, when a house search was carried out and 654 marijuana plants in an advanced state of flowering were seized, as well as 10,000 euros in cash and a high-end vehicle. In addition, the main suspect was arrested.

Finally, on the 20th, four simultaneous raids were carried out in relation to two crops, where 814 cannabis plants were seized whose harvest was very close. In this latest operation, three individuals were arrested.

The seized items, as well as the detainees, all residents of Osuna, have been placed at the disposal of the Judicial Authority.

The operation, which is part of the ongoing collaboration between Customs Surveillance and the Civil Guard in the fight against drug trafficking in the province of Seville, was carried out by the Operational Unit of the Customs Surveillance Service of the Tax Agency in Seville, together with the Territorial Unit of the Judicial Police of the Civil Guard Company of Osuna.
