Two people arrested for drug trafficking in the port of Palma

  • The detainees were carrying a bag in their vehicle containing more than a kilo of ecstasy, ketamine, crystal meth, and pink cocaine.

October 14, 2025.- On September 30, Customs Surveillance officers from the Tax Agency and Civil Guard officers from the Fiscal and Border Analysis and Investigation Unit (UDAIF) seized more than a kilo of various drugs in the port of Palma de Mallorca during a routine check of vehicles unloaded from a ship arriving from Valencia.

The operation took place when investigators diverted a car that was disembarking from a ferry from Valencia to the control zone located in the port of Palma. At that time, the two occupants were identified and the interior of the vehicle was inspected. As a result, a bag containing 1,184 grams of different substances was located, which after being analyzed by 'narcotest', turned out to be 'ecstasy' (MDMA), ketamine, 'crystal' and 'pink cocaine' (2C-B).

The two occupants of the vehicle were therefore arrested as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health and brought before a court.
