On March 27, 2026, the European Prosecutor General, Ms. Laura Codruța, and the President of the Tax Agency, Mr. Jesús Gascón, signed a general protocol of action between the two institutions, by which the Tax Agency undertakes to provide the necessary collaboration to the European Prosecutor's Office for the better achievement of the purposes pursued by it, all on the basis of the existing regulations.

This Protocol with the European Public Prosecutor's Office reinforces the Tax Agency's commitment to the fight against tax and customs fraud in all areas.
