Four indoor marijuana grow operations dismantled in Aguadulce (Seville)

  • Four people have been arrested for drug trafficking, electricity fraud, and illegal possession of weapons.

  • The searches carried out resulted in the seizure of more than 1,700 cannabis plants and 5,000 euros in cash.

February 27, 2026. The Customs Surveillance Service of the Tax Agency in Seville, in a joint operation with the Civil Guard, dismantled four indoor marijuana cultivation centers in the town of Aguadulce (Seville) on February 17th and arrested four people for the alleged crimes of drug trafficking, electricity fraud and illegal possession of weapons.

The operation began when, after receiving different information, the agents of both bodies carried out inquiries that allowed them to locate four properties where marijuana cultivation activities were allegedly taking place.

Once all the evidence had been gathered and the main perpetrators identified, the Civil and Instruction Section of the Court of First Instance of Estepa, Plaza 2, authorized the entry and search of the homes.

As a result of the searches, more than 1,700 marijuana plants, a 12-gauge shotgun and more than 5,000 euros in cash were seized, as well as the tools and equipment used for the preparation and cultivation of the plantation. In addition, the electrical installations used fraudulently for cultivation in the homes were removed.

The operation ended with the arrest of four individuals, who are accused of drug trafficking, electricity fraud and illegal possession of weapons.

The seized items, as well as the detainees, have been placed at the disposal of the judicial authority.

The operation was carried out by the Operational Unit of the Customs Surveillance Service of the Tax Agency in Seville, together with the Judicial Police Team of the Civil Guard of Osuna, with the support of the Rural Security Group Grs number 2 of Seville and Usesic of Command.
