The Customs Surveillance Service of the Tax Agency in Seville, in a joint operation with the Civil Guard, within the framework of the collaboration between both agencies, have proceeded to the intervention of several 'indoor' marijuana crops in the Sevillian town of Osuna and the arrest of two people as alleged perpetrators of a crime against public health and electricity fraud.

The information obtained by the joint working team led the investigators to establish permanent surveillance devices on two people suspected of cultivating and producing marijuana indoors. As a result of these suspicions, and once evidence of the activity had been gathered, the Court No. 1 of Osuna authorized five entries and searches in different properties, all of them located in the town of Osuna.

As a result of the searches carried out, three indoor grow operations were raided, more than 757 marijuana plants in different stages of growth and flowering were seized, approximately one kilo of crushed marijuana ready for distribution, as well as 4,960 euros in cash. At the same time, two high-end vehicles and a van were seized.

The operation has ended with the arrest of two people who, along with the seized items, have been placed at the disposal of the competent judicial authority as alleged main perpetrators of the crimes of drug trafficking and electricity fraud.

The police intervention is part of the collaboration and joint work of the Tax Agency and the Civil Guard in the province of Seville, and has been carried out by the Seville operational unit of Customs Surveillance of the Tax Agency and the Judicial Police Team of the Civil Guard of Osuna.

The investigation remains open and further police action is not ruled out based on the analysis of the information obtained.
