More than 400,000 families have received payment for the birth or adoption of children in the first year of application of the measure
- The Tax Agency has paid a total of 1,002 million euros
- Madrid and Barcelona are the provinces with the highest number of beneficiaries
August 7, 2008. The Tax Agency has paid just over 1,000 million euros to the 401,371 families that have received a payment of 2,500 euros for the birth or adoption of children from July 1, 2007 to June 30, 2008. Andalusia, Madrid and Catalonia are the autonomous communities with the largest number of benefited families.
