The Tax Agency warns of a new attempt of fraud through the Internet that uses his name and that of its General Director, Luis Pedroche.

The deception refers to a non-existent resolution of January 4, 2008

January 11, 2008. The Tax Agency has today detected an important sending of communications by email in which its name, its image and the name of the General Director, Luis Pedroche, are fraudulently used.

In the sending, reference is made to a non-existent resolution of January 4, 2008 by which a return is approved in which the recipient of the e-mail benefits. In order to access the money you must access a link at the address secure.aeats.info. At that address, current account information is requested.

The Tax Agency has taken the necessary measures to prosecute these fraud attempts and remembers that the best measure is to prevent users from suspicious communications that include the request for bank details. The Tax Agency does not request confidential information, nor account numbers, nor taxpayer card numbers, by email. The website of the Tax Agency is sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es .
