The Tax Agency warns of fraudulent phishing via Internet

The Tax Agency has today detected a new sending of email communications in which your name and image are fraudulently used.

In the sending, reference is made to a non-existent resolution of January 25, 2008 by which a return is approved in which the recipient of the e-mail benefits. In order to have the money you have to access a link with an interposed address. At that address, current account information is requested.

The Tax Agency has taken the necessary measures to prosecute these fraud attempts and remembers that the best measure is to prevent users from suspicious communications that include the request for bank details. The Tax Agency does not request confidential information, nor account numbers, nor taxpayer card numbers, by email. The website of the Tax Agency is sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es .
