More than 35,000 families received the 2,500 euros for birth or adoption in January

The amount of payments exceeds 90 million euros. Applications can be submitted online, at the Tax Agency offices or by calling 901 200 345. Nearly 200,000 families have received the 2,500 euros since payments began in November last year.

4 February 2008. In January 2008, the Tax Agency has paid 2,500 euros to 37,219 families for birth or adoption, as provided by Law 35/2007 approved on November 6. The total amount paid to families is 92.8 million euros. The average waiting time to receive the money is approximately thirty days from application. Nearly 196,736 families have received the 2,500 euros since payments began in November 2007.

New applications can be submitted online with an electronic signature through the page sede.agenciatributaria.gob.es , at the offices of the Tax and Social Security Agency, or by telephone 901 200 345.
